Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning

The most commonly applied forms of artificial intelligence (AI) with respect to hedge funds are machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL). Adopting an AI/ML-managed system underpinned by artificial neural networks (ANN) and deep learning can enable better forecasting for trading strategies and mitigate risk before live production and trade execution.

Tips

Assessments commonly consist of knowledge in the disciplines of statistics (probability, stochastic, statistical inference), computer science (machine learning, algorithms, theory of computation, linear algebra, machine perception, computer vision).
The quintessential programming skills are Python (Libraries; Scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, Statsmodels), C++, MATLAB, or R. Master’s or PhD degree is required in mathematics, statistics, computer science or a similar quantitative field.
