The role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and developers to build a fully automated systematic trading system from its initial design phase to live production.
Key responsibilities
Implement best practices and build effective tools to monitor the firm’s global automatic trading system; improve its availability and reliability, institute performance optimization for critical production processes.
Partner with the development team to identify and develop tools for automation in all phases of development cycles, including rigorous testing, release, and deployment.
Monitor, tune, and adjust automation for maximized performance and availability.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional work experience.
- Experience in a Linux environment with working knowledge of networking fundamentals.
- Strong Python programming experience required.
- Foundational knowledge with tools and systems such as Git, Jenkins, Kafka, AWS, and Ansible.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or similar quantitative field.
